There are a number of causes for feeling dizzy and accordingly, there are numerous natural and holistic remedies that you can use to help with remedies. At times, certain deficiencies can cause chronic dizzy spells and in other cases the reasons may vary.
We recently received a question from one of our readers and here’s some expert advice on the matter:
Question: I keep getting dizzy spells. Some more severe than others. Treating it as vertigo but much milder than I sometimes have. Do you have any suggestions?
The causes of dizzy spells are very broad. The most common causes outside of a serious medical condition such as internal bleeding and stroke are dehydration, anemia, low blood sugar or low blood pressure or side effects of certain medications. Making sure you are extremely well hydrated – with clean, pure water, is always the first recommendation. If you are not eating a diet full of fresh fruit and veggies, I do recommend a multivitamin such as the Buddha’s Herbs Complete Multivitamin for Adults. For your anemia, making sure you are increasing iron intake – preferably through lean red meats, spinach and beans. Adding a fruit or vegetable high in vitamin c, such as citrus or broccoli will help the iron absorption into the body much more efficiently.
